The TESOL CALL-IS Electronic Village Online is a a set of online discussions and workshops that takes place every year from mid-January to mid-February, The 'Classroom-based research for professional development' EVO, first organized in 2016 by Kenan Dikilitas & Asli Lidice Saglam, aims to help teachers engage in research into their own classrooms, also known as teacher-research or classroom research. The emphasis is on research by teachers for teachers (for their own professional development), and for the benefit of their students - not on more academic forms of research. From 2017 onwards, we have placed a particular emphasis on supporting teachers in relatively difficult circumstances (large classes, few physical resources, etc.) |
